About

Who I Am

I'm an ordinary senior who's been around the block. I've had careers in Advertising, Finance and High Tech, allowing me to live in the South, Midwest, Northeast and now the West.

Although my parents never voted (my dad was "too busy" and my mom was never a U.S. citizen), I became intensely interested when I turned 18. I learned I was not a citizen, due to some paperwork lost in a fire in Germany. I had to be naturalized in order to register to vote. It was very scary, so I have always cherished my right to vote.

Lastly, a few years ago I volunteered to help a friend starting a non-profit aiming to help the left and the right find common ground on important issues. After lots of research and feedback from active voters, it became clear we were solving the wrong problem. Our problem is that the center is not engaged in and disillusioned with politics and voting. Polarization is the result of not enough moderates to temper the left and right.

What I'm doing

The time to get-out-the-vote is now!  Many Americans vote-by-mail or in-person in October. Although it's ideal to reach people before mid-October, I'll keep at it until the polls close the evening of November 5th. And I hope you will too.

In 2024, seven states will likely determine the election results... Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.  I'm going to four locations in 3 key "swing" states where I have friends to help me get out the vote (and a swing county in Texas). And I'm focused on areas with traditionally low voter turnout at unexpected locations that attract all kinds of people. I'll be on University campuses, at busy intersections (likely working with homeless people who solicit there), in busy stores and at major attractions, like concerts, fairs and zoos.
